International Trade Policy and Institutions
Using theory and case studies, the course examines the logic of international trade and investment; policy interventions such as tariffs and non-tariff barriers; the effects of trade, investment and related policies on businesses, consumers and countries; and the global framework of international trade agreements.

Asia: Center of the World Economy
With half the world’s population, one quarter of its output, and twice its growth rate, Asia is becoming the center of the world economy.  The course examines what is “different” about the economics of Asia, and the companies, investments and policies that account for its dynamism.
